WELCOME !!!
You have just arrived!
The world of sidecars is a wild and wonderful thing!
Sidecars are those curious attachments to motorcycles that you can observe traveling down the road with one wheel on the side!
Sidecars bring a smile to many faces, a wave that is not hesitant and many conversations with people you would most often not speak with.
The memories roll for many, and new thought lines for others who are considering a motorcycle in their life, but don't want to leave the family behind for that nice ride.
There are other many reasons for the use of a sidecar. Businesses have a rolling billboard, economical deliveries, or just for that out of the ordinary touch.
If you are a sidecarist now, or are in the process of learning all you can about the sport of sidecars...This is the place to be!
Please take a moment while visiting this page to check out the Tech page...there you will meet many of the personalities and businesses who support HACK'd Magazine and the Sport of Sidecaring. If you visit them, please let them know where you found their information!
HACK'd, The Magazine For and About Sidecarists,
is just that!
A magazine that has been in existence since 1984 dedicated to sidecar information with some general motorcycling information.
The Founding Editor, Jim Dodson, (1950-2002) was an avid sidecarist and was researching for himself, he decided that a magazine would be helpful to others who were looking for information. Hence, the magazine came to be in 1984.
HACK'd = you drive a sidecar,
as Jim used to say, 'YOU ARE'
Jim and his wife, Chris Dodson worked together over 18 years together, gathering such information regardless of marque, just the fact that it had to do with sidecars and published to readers all across the world.
HACK'd Owner and Publisher is Dodson Publications, LLC and is edited by Chris Dodson, President of Dodson Publications LLC, she is one bonafide sidecarist. She has been in the sidecar world since 1976 and is still having a good time of it!
The quarterly magazine still lives, because of the riders! YOU.
